West Vancouver Chararacter

Have you ever thought of having a get-a-way on the Gulf Islands but perhaps the thought of ferry traffic just stops you. Well the solution is at 6272 Wellington in West Vancouver... This cottage originally built in the 1930's has been tastefully upddated over the years to become a comfortable home yet retaining all the charm and character of its age.. On a quiet cul de sac a short walk to Garrow Bay it is private and serenely quiet.. You can watch the Nanaimo ferry make its way to and from Horseshoe Bay. At night you can even hear the waves lapping on the shore.. It feels like you are miles away from the city but it's but 15 minutes to Park Royal and from there over the Lions Gate Bridge to Downtown Vancouver...Also, you are well on your way to Whistler and Squamish.. You don't need a Gulf Island retreat when you live here.. You come home to one every night.. An added bonus is the proximity to the Gleneagles Golf Course and Whytecliff Park.. You can even stroll down to Horseshoe Bay for fish and chips or rent or keep  your boat at the marina..
